About This Tour
This three-day, two-night liveaboard cruise is the definitive way to explore Komodo National Park at a relaxed pace. You'll sail aboard a traditional Phinisi wooden boat - the same style used by Indonesian seafarers for centuries - now fitted with comfortable air-conditioned cabins, a sundeck, and a dedicated crew including a chef, captain, and local guide.
Day one begins with pick-up from your hotel or Komodo Airport in Labuan Bajo. After settling into your cabin, you'll sail to Kelor Island for a gentle warm-up hike with sweeping views. Next, snorkel the colourful reefs of Manjarite Island before the boat anchors near Kalong Island just in time for sunset, where thousands of flying foxes take to the sky in one of nature's most surreal spectacles.
Day two is the blockbuster. Wake before dawn and watch the sunrise from the summit of Padar Island - undoubtedly one of the most breathtaking viewpoints in all of Southeast Asia. After breakfast on the boat, swim at Pink Beach and then head to Komodo Island itself for a ranger-guided trek among the dragons. The afternoon brings Taka Makassar's ethereal sandbar and snorkeling at Manta Point, where you might come face-to-face with the ocean's gentle giants.
On the final morning, you'll cruise to Kanawa Island - a tiny paradise surrounded by pristine coral. Spend the morning snorkeling and relaxing before the boat returns to Labuan Bajo around midday, giving you plenty of time to catch an afternoon flight or enjoy the town.
Full meals and drinks are included throughout, along with professional drone and GoPro documentation so you'll leave with stunning images of your trip. This is more than a tour - it's the journey of a lifetime.
